After lunch, visit the Sacred Heart Basilica (Sacré-Cœur) in Montmartre with time for prayer and to enjoy the panoramic views of Paris. Early morning transfer to the train station to board the high-speed TGV train to southern France. Arrive in Lourdes, one of the world's most important Marian pilgrimage sites, in the afternoon. Check in to your hotel and visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes with the Grotto of Massabielle where the Virgin Mary appeared to St. Bernadette in 1858. Participate in the evening candlelight procession, a moving experience of faith and devotion. Overnight in Lourdes.
Morning participation in the International Mass at the Basilica of St. Pius X or time for personal devotion, including the opportunity to bathe in the healing waters. After lunch, journey to Barcelona, crossing the Pyrenees mountains and the Spanish border. Arrive in the vibrant Catalan capital in the evening and check in to your hotel. Morning visit to Almudena Cathedral, Madrid's main cathedral dedicated to the Virgin of Almudena, and the impressive Royal Palace. After lunch, excursion to the medieval city of Toledo, known as the "City of Three Cultures." Visit Toledo Cathedral, one of Spain's most impressive Gothic structures, and the Church of Santo Tomé housing El Greco's masterpiece "The Burial of the Count of Orgaz." Return to Madrid for an evening of leisure or optional flamenco show. Overnight in Madrid.
After breakfast, journey to Fatima, one of the world's most important Marian shrines where the Virgin Mary appeared to three shepherd children in 1917. En route, stop at the historic city of Salamanca to see its impressive Plaza Mayor and the two cathedrals. Upon arrival in Fatima, check in to your hotel and visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima with the Chapel of Apparitions. Evening participation in the candlelight procession. Overnight in Fatima.
Morning Mass at the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and visit to the homes of the three shepherd children in the nearby village of Aljustrel. Journey to Lisbon, Portugal's charming capital, stopping en route at the medieval town of Óbidos with its well-preserved castle and surrounding walls. Upon arrival in Lisbon, check in to your hotel and visit the Lisbon Cathedral and the Church of St. Anthony, built on the saint's birthplace. Farewell dinner featuring Portuguese specialties and traditional Fado music. Overnight in Lisbon.
After breakfast, morning visit to the historic Belém district to see the magnificent Jerónimos Monastery, a masterpiece of Manueline architecture and UNESCO World Heritage site, and the iconic Belém Tower. Time to taste the famous Portuguese custard tarts (Pastéis de Belém) at the original bakery.
